Invest In What You Know!

One of the greatest investors of our time is a man named Peter Lynch.

Peter Lynch ran the Fidelity Magellan Fund from 1977 until 1990, averaging a yearly return of 29.2%.

One of his investment mantras was to invest in what you know.

Sometimes, all you have to do is pay attention.

For example, how many of you are members of Planet Fitness?

If so, did you have any idea that they are a publicly traded company (NYSE: PLNT)?

Planet Fitness went public in August of 2015 at $16.  Today it is trading at $56.51 – up 343%!

If you bought at the IPO price, you could have made 3 times your money at this point.

If you use a product or a service and love it, chances are other people feel the same.  Keep your investor hat on at all times – when you love something, find out if you can own shares in the business.

It’s profitable to pay attention!
