Yesterday, the world lost Jack Bogle at age 89.
Mr. Bogle was the founder of Vanguard Funds. He is considered the “father of index funds” and was a champion of buy and hold investing.
Warren Buffett called him a “hero” to investors in his 2017 annual letter. I certainly agree.
